2020 in Review

Tecumseh wrote, “Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people”.

See your life for what it is: full of potential. Don’t take it for granted. You may not know where you’re going. Always keep moving forward. Take advantage of everyday, one day at a time. Go fast. Take chances. Go outside and see the world. Run your guns, roast your tires, and pet your dogs. Have a drink and make a toast. Eat well. Discover new music. Discover new places. Challenge your body and your mind. Give more then you take. Love hard, fight hard, and stand by your promises.

The happiest moments in my life all deal with you. This year has been challenging, to say the least. Nonetheless, it has been full of these moments and I will always carry them with me. The moments when we quit taking life so seriously. Laughing and smiling. Sometimes, silently taking in the tremendous beauty of the world.

I can never make up for the bad. I can only hope that I have made a positive impact on all of you, the way you did for me.

You will never know how full you have made my life. Every single one of you.

Do me a favor. When you get the chance, go out and take the time to catch a sunset. Or catch a wave.

Don’t stop loving life. Don’t forget to smile.
